I'm following up on an entry I wrote last month on the "Rock Tour," a 10-day summer camp swing through a host of elite programs on the East Coast for 18 quarterbacks, a tight end and a center.
Three of the campers, who had no offers before, landed scholarship offers. Taylor McNamara, a tight end in the class of 2012, was the first to get some good news when FSU offered him. Later on the trip, McNamara received offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Maryland as well. In addition, the Bearcats also offered center Daniel Murray and 2012 QB Shane Dillon, tour coordinator George Whitfield reports.
To read which schools were enticed by "Rock Tour" recruits, plus Bruce's news and notes from around college football, you must be an ESPN Insider.
