Washington Huskies star quarterback Jake Locker is a busy man this week as he goes through the car wash -- interviews for all ESPN platforms in Bristol, Conn. -- and visits with New York media to boost his and his squad's profiles:

After flying cross-country on Sunday, Locker will spend all day Monday at ESPN. It'll be a whirlwind day for the senior signal-caller, starting with an appearance on the "Mike & Mike in The Morning" radio show at 9:40 a.m. ET and concluding with a spot on Doug Gottlieb's radio show at 4:25 p.m. ET. In between, Locker will hold a live chat on ESPN.com (at 1:30 p.m. ET), tape segments with several television programs, appear on several more radio shows and spend time getting to know the on-air and production staff at ESPN.

On Tuesday, the Washington quarterback will host a lunch with members of the New York media at a restaurant near Times Square, then visit the offices of Sports Illustrated before returning to the Northwest.

A year ago at this time, Washington was coming off a winless season. This is a pretty big jump for Huskies football.
