I had some time Monday morning to talk with Florida Gators running back Jeffery Demps, who not only is one of the faster players in college football but also ran a sub-10-second 100-yard dash this past weekend ahead of the NCAA sprint championships. Demps won the 100-meter and 4x100-meter relay titles on Saturday.
What did you think when you found out you had run a sub-10-second 100?
At first, I couldn't believe it. But then when I found out the time was wind-aided, I was a little disappointed.
It seems as though in the sprints right now it's Usain Bolt and then everybody else. How much faster do you think you can run?
I don't really know. I guess it just depends on how well I can do with more training.
