Is this the year North Carolina football breaks through and wins an ACC title, forcing its way back onto the national stage? Well, if you put any stock in those way-early 2011 NFL mock drafts, you'd have to think it's very possible. Mel Kiper released his top 5 players at each position, and six Tar Heels made the list, each in the top 3 at his respective spot (No. 1 DT Marvin Austin, No. 1 OLB Bruce Carter, No. 1 DE Robert Quinn, No. 1 ILB Quan Sturdivant, No. 2 safety Deunta Williams, No. 3 TE Zack Pianalto). No other program had anywhere near that kind of representation.

It's heady stuff, but the Tar Heels, who have 19 returning starters, are trying to keep it in perspective.
