David Pollack is one of the greatest players to ever suit up for the Georgia Bulldogs. There have been two three-time All-Americans in the school's rich football history. Herschel Walker is one. Pollack is the other. An injury ended the former first-round pick's NFL career just as it was taking off. Pollack has since transitioned to the media side of things. He has a daily radio show in Georgia and also has done a lot of TV and was one of the voices of ESPN's SEC coverage last fall. I spoke to him Monday regarding his thoughts on what has been an eventful offseason at his alma mater, about the Dawgs' new defensive scheme and the SEC East race, among other things.
