Colt McCoy is coming off one of the best statistical seasons in college football history, during which he led the Texas Longhorns to a 12-1 record and a Fiesta Bowl victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes; however, because of the early November loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock, McCoy was deprived of an appearance in the Big 12 title game and BCS National Championship Game. His senior year on the football field begins in a little over a week.
