Good move, bad move

I cringe when I type the following words: The NCAA Football Rules committee is at it again. Two years ago, they were troubled by the length of games and put in a couple of very bad changes in hopes of speeding things up. (The new rules "worked" in terms of speeding up the game, shaving 14 minutes off the average game, but the action was also hacked away with 13 fewer plays and five less points per game than the previous season.) So, thankfully, college football went back to its old rules -- and the games stretched on, lasting an averaging of 3 hours, 22 minutes per game, actually one minute longer than they were the year before the rule changes. Did any of the fans, coaches or players really hate that?
