Coordinators on this week's list

Since a few new coordinators are really on the spot this weekend, this week's list is about the coordinators off to the best starts this season.

1. David Cutcliffe, Tennessee, OC: Erik Ainge is completing 76 percent of his passes and is the hottest QB in the country right now. Last year, Vol QBs probably couldn't connect on 76 percent against air. UT has also converted on 64 percent of its third-down opportunities and has yet to allow a sack. Last season the Vols offense was downright inept, managing just one play longer than 40 yards. Already this season they have seven. If Ainge keeps this up for a few more games, you can start engraving Cutcliffe's name on that Broyles Award.
