Rutgers appears to be the school next in line for three-star defensive tackle Jamil Pollard (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford), who committed to Penn State in April but had his scholarship offer pulled back this month because of academics. "I lost my scholarship because my grades fell the last quarter," Pollard explained. "They said they might reoffer if I get my grades back up. It's easily something I can handle, so they're still in the picture." Pollard said he's also talking to Boston College and Rutgers now, and Rutgers has a slight edge only because it's no more than a one-hour drive from his home.
