Wide receiver Canaan Severin (Marlborough, Mass./Worcester Academy) had his list of verbal scholarship offers grow to 10 this week when he added offers from Western Michigan and Syracuse. "Coach Nagy [Western Michigan assistant coach Rich Nagy] visited during preseason and we kept in touch," Severin said. "I wasn't really surprised they made an offer, but I was happy to get it. "Syracuse showed more and more interest during the winter. Coach Conley [Syracuse assistant Dan Conley] came to school Tuesday. He said he needed to do the eyeball test before he offered me."
