A.J. Doyle's recruitment heating up

It looks like the spring will be a busy time for quarterback A.J. Doyle (Lakeville, Mass./Catholic Memorial), who took unofficial visits to North Carolina State and Maryland last weekend, and is scheduled to attend a Boston College practice Saturday.

"I talked to [BC offensive line coach] Sean Devine Wednesday night," Doyle said. "This will be my first chance to see [first-year offensive coordinator] Kevin Rogers."

Doyle, who will be entering his third season as his team's full-time starting QB, received a verbal scholarship offer from Massachusetts last month. His second offer, from Western Michigan, came Thursday.
