John Ferranto (Burlington, N.J./Burlington Township) has attracted a fair amount of FBS interest, but no scholarship offers.
Perhaps that's because he's expected to play offensive line at the college level, but has been used primarily as a defensive end in high school.
"Having coached in college, I like to play my guys one way," said Burlington Township coach Tom Maderia, who was an assistant on Don Nehlen's West Virginia staff. "We use him as a defensive end, but we bring him in to block in some of our offensive packages.
