Outside linebacker Dan Mastromatteo (Absecon, N.J./Holy Spirit) has received verbal offers from Tulane and Rutgers, and said he expects to add a third offer soon.
"Penn State said they would offer," Mastromatteo said. "I'm going to go check things out there on April 9."
The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder also said Boston College, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Michigan, Nebraska, Purdue, Tennessee and Wisconsin have shown interest. He attended a junior day at Boston College, and was invited to attend a junior day at Cincinnati.
