Georgia reeled in the No. 6 recruiting class in the nation during national signing day and that class got even stronger last weekend, when 6-foot-4, 340-pound nose guard Jonathan Jenkins (Meriden, Conn./Mississippi Gulf Community College) signed with the Bulldogs. Academic issues prevented Jenkins from signing with an FBS school coming out of Maloney High School in Meriden, where he was primarily a fullback. He committed to Oklahoma State last fall, but backed out of that commitment. Jenkins narrowed his choices to Oklahoma State, Florida, Georgia and Miami last month. His final decision came down to a choice between Georgia and Florida, and he picked the Bulldogs during a ceremony at Maloney High School on Saturday.
