Mike Kelly (Merrimack, N.H./Bishop Guertin) inched closer to his dream of playing FCS football last week. Kelly, widely considered to be the best offensive player in New Hampshire last season, decided to stay close to home and committed to the University of New Hampshire on Thursday. He is expected to play either slot receiver or defensive back, and will also return kicks. Kelly, who suffered a season-ending foot injury during the second game of the 2010 season, took an official visit to New Hampshire two weeks ago, and said he came out of that visit confident New Hampshire was the place for him.
