Although he could receive scholarship offers from Maryland and Northwestern, Brian Strachan (Wellesley, Mass./St. Sebastians) said he feels a sense of loyalty to Brown.

Strachan, who played quarterback and defensive back last season, committed to Brown following the school's 29-14 victory over Harvard in September.

"They gave me a deadline and told me I had to decide," Strachan said. "It's hard to pass up the chance to have an offer from Brown in your pocket.
