Connecticut will become the last state in the Northeast to wrap up its high school football season when four state championship games are played this weekend at the University of Connecticut's Rentschler Field. Some of the state's top recruits will be on display. Things kickoff Friday night when Trumbull (11-2) meets Xavier (12-0) in the Class LL title game. Three-star linebacker Graham Stewart (Middletown, Conn./Xavier) is ESPNU's top-rated recruit from Connecticut this season and is the leader of a Xavier defense that is allowing an average of 8.6 points per game. Boston College won a three-team recruiting battle for Stewart, who was also seriously considering Connecticut and Syracuse.
