Three Northeast games to watch

It was an eventful week for three-star athlete Tanner McEvoy (Oradell, N.J./Bergen Catholic), who was shifted from receiver to quarterback before the start of the 2010 season, was suspended for Bergen Catholic's 47-12 victory over Paramus Catholic last Saturday.

Later in the week, McEvoy made it known he plans to take the following official visits: South Carolina (Dec. 10), Michigan (Dec. 17), North Carolina (Jan. 7) and Rutgers (Jan. 21). McEvoy's brother Colin is a senior linebacker at Rutgers.

Bergen Catholic (8-1) will face Red Bank Catholic (7-1) on Saturday in New Jersey's Non-Public Group IV playoffs. The Red Bank Catholic roster includes four-star tight end Jack Tabb.
