RB Chris Brown enjoys Oregon State visit

September, 8, 2011
Running back Chris Brown (Fresno, Calif./San Joaquin Memorial) took his first official visit of the year this past weekend to Oregon State and although the Beavers suffered a shocking upset to Sacramento State, Brown said he still had a great time in Corvallis.

"I really liked it a lot there," Brown said. "I know the game didn't go the way they wanted but I still really enjoyed myself and felt like I fit in well with the players and coaches. I'm looking for a school where I'll be comfortable on and off the field and I definitely felt that at Oregon State.

"I think the high point for me was just hanging with the coaches. We really connected well and Coach [Mike] Riley is a great guy and we hit it off well. I got along great with everyone there and I'm going to be staying in touch with Oregon State all season long for sure."
