Defensive back Ishmael Adams (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) and wide receiver Chris Harper (Encino, Calif./Crespi) took an unofficial visit to Cal over the weekend and the Golden Bears are in a good position with both players at the moment.

Adams and Harper play on the same summer 7-on-7 team and have become good friends as well. The two players, along with Cal commit Bryce Treggs (Bellflower, Calif./St. john Bosco), made the short road trip to Berkeley to check out the Bears.

"It was a great trip," Adams said. "We did a little of everything there. I got to watch the team practice, meet with the coaches, tour the campus and see the new facilities. Cal really stands out right now and I'm getting closer to a decision but I'm not going to announce anything until the Army All-American game in January.
