BYU picked up a big commitment from one of the region's top defensive line prospects. Troy Hinds (Kaysville, Utah/Davis) announced for the Cougars after meeting with the Cougars staff Monday morning. "After much thought and deliberation, I have made my decision where I will be getting my education and playing football," Hinds said in a news release. "My Dad and I met with Coach [Bronco] Mendenhall in his office this morning and I committed to him and will be enrolling at Brigham Young University after I complete my LDS church mission." Landing Hinds is a major coup for the Cougars as the rush end has been one of the state's top linemen since his sophomore year. He was heavily recruited by schools all over the country and had offers from every school in the Pac-12 minus USC and Oregon.
