Colorado picked up a commitment from one of California's top defensive lineman, Justin Solis (Westlake Village, Calif./Westlake), who chose the Buffs over longtime favorite UCLA. "It came down to where I felt most comfortable and where I thought I would fit in the best," Solis said. "I visited Colorado and it just felt like home to me. I was looking for a place that reminded me of what we have here at Westlake and I felt I got that vibe on my visit to Boulder. "It's a beautiful campus and I really like the coaching staff. I know the program has been down a bit but I think the staff in place has what it takes to turn things around. UCLA is a great school too and they were the local favorite. It came down to those two schools for me but I just felt CU was the best fit and I liked the idea of going away for college and experiencing something new." Solis has been one of the state's top defensive tackles since his sophomore season. He's was also holding offers from Arizona, Boise State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Nevada, Utah and Washington.
