Oftentimes when more schools get involved in a player's recruitment it causes that player to delay making a decision in order to check out his options. For defensive lineman Alex Balducci (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic), he took a different route. He decided to shut things down early and committed to Oregon. The Ducks have been the top school for Balducci for more than a year now and after narrowing his choices to the Ducks and Washington Huskies, the lineman decided to pull the trigger. "Things were getting stressful for me," Balducci said. "More schools were getting involved, and I just didn't want to deal with the madness any more. UW is an awesome school, but Oregon had everything I was looking for plus it's close to home and I had been there a ton of times and was very comfortable there.
