Not only was E.J. Fatu (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak) the top fullback at the recent Nike camp in Houston, he was arguably the best fullback at any Nike camp this spring. At 5-foot-9, 233 pounds, Fatu is a powerful athlete who dominated in all areas on Saturday. Not surprisingly, he manhandled opposing linebackers in the pass rush drills but showed surprising agility and athleticism in the make-you-miss drills as well as being a tough cover in the one-on-one receiving drills. "He was right there for RB MVP," lead RB coach Jake Campbell said following the event. "There were some great backs and the MVP could have gone to about four different guys but Fatu was right at the top and isn't just a great fullback prospect, he's a great running back period."
