Valencia (Calif.) running back Steven Manfro took his first official visit of the year this past weekend to UCLA and when the Bruins offered Sunday morning, the athlete wasted no time in jumping on it. "I'm so excited to be a Bruin," Manfro said. "I had breakfast with coach [Rick] Neuheisel and some of the other coaches there and that's when he offered me a scholarship. As soon as he did, I told him I was taking it and committed right there on the spot. "This is like a dream come true for me. Growing up, I always liked UCLA and now to have a chance to go play football for them and go to that college, it's just incredible. I had a great trip and met a lot of great people. I met Mike Johnson, the new offensive coordinator and he's a great guy.
