Cal felt like home for Brendon Bigelow

It was an active weekend with several commitments going down, highlighted by USC reeling in Serra (Gardena, Calif.) receiver George Farmer. While Farmer stole most of the headlines, he wasn't the only impact player to pull the trigger. When healthy, Brendon Bigelow (Fresno, Calif./Central) is the most dynamic running back in the region and he finally made public what he had done silently months ago. Bigelow gave an early commitment to Washington a year ago but in talking to many close to the Central program, Cal was always the team to beat and the athlete committed to the Bears over the weekend. "I actually told them I was coming a few months ago," Bigelow said. "I didn't want it out there but I really like Cal a lot and that's where I feel most comfortable. They have a great reputation of putting backs into the league (NFL), it's close to home, I have a good relationship with the coaches and I know a lot of players there.
