Just two weeks ago, Oregon State landed a commitment from former UCLA offensive line recruit Darryl Jackson. It looks like the Beavers have done it again with one of the Bruins' top offensive commits.

Wide receiver Brandin Cooks (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln) committed last summer to UCLA and is among the top prospects in the West, regardless of position. The athlete took an official visit to Corvallis two weeks ago when the Beavers hosted USC and Cooks said he now has a leader.

"I'm basically a soft commit to Oregon State," Cooks said. "I had a great visit and right now, I really feel like Oregon State is the best place for me. This is something I've been thinking about for the past few months and I finally decided to take the visit to Oregon State to see what the place was all about and I loved it there.
