The recent Pete Carroll Win Forever Festival at the Home Depot Academy in Carson, Calif., brought together over 500 players of all ages from all over the area. While the overall talent at the camp was just solid, four high-major recruits made big impressions. Defensive back Stefan McClure (Vista, Calif./Vista) made his first camp appearance all spring/summer and showed why he could be the top cover corner in the West. McClure has a great skill set to go along with a long, wiry frame and superior football instincts. McClure looks to be about 5-foot-11, 180 pounds with long arms and his ability to break on the ball was easily the best in the camp. He plays with a suddenness to him and showed strong hands, making several interceptions during the one-on-one portion of the camp.
