Talented linebacker Tre Madden (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo) has been racking up the scholarship offers in recent weeks. On Thursday, Madden picked up the offer he has been waiting for and could make his decision over the weekend. He is among the top linebackers in the West and a tremendous talent. His recruitment started off slow with a sole offer from Washington until late April. Nebraska was next to offer and then after picking up LB MVP honors at the SoCal Nike Camp, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon and Texas A&M put offers on the table as well. "USC just offered me Thursday.I talked with Joe Barry, the linebacker coach and then Ed Orgeron told me I had a scholarship offer. I was pretty excited and really didn't see this coming," said Madden. "I always thought they wanted me to camp with them first before they offered so it means a lot that they like me enough now to offer without me going to the camp. USC is a school I have liked for a long time and I'm definitely thinking about jumping on it and getting my commitment over with."
