Quarterback Kyle Boehm (San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) worked out at the Elite 11 regional camp at Cal and the Nike Camp at Stanford over the weekend and hinted that he could be very close to making his decision. The talented signal caller decided to pull the trigger Tuesday morning. "I just committed to Cal," said Boehm. "I was the first quarterback offered by Cal this year and that always meant a lot to me. Coach [Jeff] Tedford's reputation for producing quality college quarterbacks speaks for itself and I had a very good comfort level with him and Andy Ludwig, the offensive coordinator there. "I knew I was getting close to making my decision and didn't feel the need to drag it out any longer. Cal has everything I could want in a school, and has a great combination of athletics and academics. The fact that it's close to home and my family can come up and see my games is another added bonus."
