Two of the top players in the West region made commitments to Pac-10 schools over the weekend. Quarterback Michael Eubank (Corona, Calif./Centennial) is headed to Arizona State and receiver Nelson Spruce (Westlake Village, Calif./Westlake) will play for Colorado (who will join the conference in the fall). The timing of the commitment from Eubank was a little surprising. As new offers rolled in for the dual threat signal caller, he had said repeatedly that he wasn't close to making a decision and wanting to take all of his visits in January. He did trip to ASU during the season but had planned to visit Washington, Arizona, Cincinnati and Mississippi State in January and decide right around signing day.
