THE RAC WAS ROCKING. Despite a sub-.500 record and no one taller than 6'8" in its freshman-heavy lineup, Rutgers trailed No. 2 Syracuse at home by just a bucket with three minutes remaining. The Scarlet Knights had the look of a mid-major, yet the Orange -- with their loaded roster, famous coach and one-loss record -- couldn't break free.
