When Jacksonville coach Cliff Warren was hired to his first-ever head coaching position earlier this year, he called it a dream come true. He compared it to another milestone in life: buying a home.

"It's like buying a house as opposed to renting," he said. "When you buy, all of the good things that go along with the house are yours. Of course, all of the bad things that go along with it are yours, too."

As it turns out, there is indeed a little bit of both at Jacksonville. On the negative side, one of his top players decided to transfer. Haminn Quaintance, a 6-7 junior forward who contributed heavily last season with 14.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, will not return.
