COACH AND PROGRAM

VCU has developed into a Colonial Athletic Association powerhouse under coach Jeff Capel.

In his first three seasons in Richmond, the 30-year old former Duke star compiled a 39-15 conference record and sandwiched a pair of second-place finishes around the 2004 CAA title.
