Coach Brad Brownell has made one thing crystal clear during his three seasons at UNC Wilmington: Underestimate the Seahawks at your own risk.

UNCW was picked to finish sixth last year in a CAA preseason poll. What happened? The Seahawks went 19-10, narrowly missing their second 20-win season in three years, finished tied for second in the CAA with a 13-6 record, and went on to reach the conference tournament semifinals.
