Team preview: Nevada
Blue Ribbon Yearbook previews the 2005-06 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.

While most of the WAC's teams spent the summer catching up on school and trying to nail down that last recruit, the defending WAC champion Nevada Wolf Pack was busy playing basketball in Europe.
During the last full week in May, Nevada faced five all-star teams in Italy over a 10-day span, winning four, and proving this will be the team to beat once again in the WAC.
Over the last two league seasons, Nevada has won an impressive 50 games, advancing past the first round of the NCAA Tournament twice, including going all the way to the Sweet 16 during the 2003-04 campaign. Final Four participant Georgia Tech eliminated Nevada that year.
