Team preview: Florida State

Let's give Florida State credit for two big wins during the offseason.
First, Leonard Hamilton held on tightly to 6-9 prized recruit Uche Echefu, who was wooed at the last hour by North Carolina coach Roy Williams, who promised a starting spot in the Tar Heels' NBA-depleted roster.
Second, the school fought back against the NCAA to get a waiver for the ban on schools using an Indian mascot, mainly because the Seminole Indian nation has given its explicit approval to the school to use the tribe's name for its athletic teams. Who is the last school that fought the NCAA and won?
So, Hamilton has that going for him.
