No disrespect intended for the school's mascot, but the last quality the Marshall basketball team needs right now is a herd mentality.

No disrespect intended for the school's mascot, but the last quality the Marshall basketball team needs right now is a herd mentality.
Best forgotten is most apt for the last turn through the MAC for Ron Jirsa's team. The Thundering Herd went 3-15 and won just once on the road in the league. Thirteen of their 22 total losses (which matched a school record no one wants) were by 10 or fewer points. And this was a veteran team; four seniors moved on, three of whom were starters.
