That old saying struck a chord with Colorado coach Ricardo Patton, so much so that he posted it in the Buffaloes basketball office this off-season as one of his "Thoughts of the Day" for the players to ponder. For him, the expression perfectly describes the way the 2004-05 campaign played out.
