COACH AND PROGRAM

It is both a blessing and a curse that Florida coach Billy Donovan is one of the hardest-working, most successful recruiters in college basketball.

Since he arrived in Gainesville nearly 10 years ago, Donovan has had no problem stockpiling talented players who have helped him turn the Gators into a perennial NCAA Tournament team. The problem has been keeping them. From Mike Miller to Donnell Harvey to Kwame Brown and now Anthony Roberson and Matt Walsh, the Gators have had and lost their share of some of the college game's best players.
