COACH AND PROGRAM

Now for a complete reversal. OK, maybe not 180 degrees, but Louisville has always had something of a come one, come all approach to its scheduling. Play all the tough guys before entering the league. That way, the TV cameras roll, and the nation gets to check in on what goes on at Freedom Hall, or how the Cards handle things on the road. That's what happened last year, when Louisville played Iowa, Stanford, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee. Sure, there were the requisite in-state victims on the schedule, but those home revenue games are important.
