Team preview: Southeast Missouri State

Change can be good, and Southeast Missouri State hopes that's the case this basketball season.The school has changed mascots -- from the Indians to the Redhawks -- and the roster has a brand new look, too.
Seven newcomers will give coach Gary Garner one of his more athletic teams at Southeast Missouri State, but he's not making any bold predictions about the season. He tempers his optimism, as any veteran coach will do.
"We have a couple of good players returning and we had one very good player sitting out and some good players coming in," Garner said. "I'd hate to say how good we will be when we have that many new players because they haven't made a basket or gotten a rebound yet.
