For the first time as a head coach, Brad Soderberg experienced a losing season in 2004-05 as his Billkens won only nine times in 30 games.
And not surprisingly, he didn't like the new feeling one bit. Soderberg hopes the pain of losing last season and a change in address from Conference USA to the Atlantic 10 will pump some serious life into his program.
"There was a lot of pain last year, because of the record,'' Soderberg. "But hopefully that pain planted the seeds for good things in the future."
