Team preview: Rider
Blue Ribbon Yearbook previews the 2005-06 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.

Everyone knew that there was going to be a changing of the guards at Rider this season, but the changing of the guard (at least temporarily) was not expected.
While the graduation of seniors Jerry Johnson and Robert Taylor made changes in the Broncs' backcourt inevitable, the retirement of athletic director Curt Blake led to a change on the bench this season.
Don Harnum, who had led Rider to a 127-104 record in eight seasons, was hired as interim athletic director while a national search was conducted to find Blake's replacement, and assistant coach Tommy Dempsey was selected interim head coach of the men's basketball team on July 7.
