Team preview: Mount St. Mary's
Blue Ribbon Yearbook previews the 2005-06 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.

At the start of last season, Mount St. Mary's appeared to be on the cusp of something big.
The team was loaded with young talent -- including star guard Landy Thompson -- and was coming off a 10-win season that allowed the Mountaineers to play in the NEC's postseason tournament for the first time in three years. They even opened up league play last season with a 3-0 mark, with two of those wins even coming on the road.
So how did it all end so badly?
