Career-low shooting percentages by point guard Joe Knight and shooting guard Jose Olivero were a major reason Lehigh was at the bottom of the Patriot League in field-goal percentage (38.6) in 2004-05.

But Mountain Hawks head coach Billy Taylor, heading into his fourth year, isn't putting all the pressure to improve the squad's perimeter accuracy on his backcourt stars.

Taylor's counting on his inside players -- particularly returning starting center Jason Mgebroff (8.7 ppg, 4.2 rpg) -- to provide plenty of stress relief for the Lehigh guards. With more balance than last year's club, the Mountain Hawks should be better equipped to challenge for the top spot in the conference.
