His feet clip-clop against new wood floors as Bruce Weber crosses his newly expanded office at Illinois' Ubben Basketball Complex. On the wall hangs a sleek new flat-screen plasma TV.

"I didn't ask for any of this," Weber said, glancing around at his nearly doubled space. "This was all Guenther."

Guenther is Ron Guenther, Illinois' athletic director. And it isn't hard to see why he'd be generous in rewarding his head basketball coach.
