Howie Dickenman doesn't sweat the small stuff.
While some programs might feel the effect of losing their top scorer, the CCSU head coach doesn't appear to be too worried about losing DeMario Anderson. The 6-2 junior guard, who averaged 14.1 points and 3.9 rebounds and led the NEC in free-throw shooting at 88.9 percent, decided to leave New Britain in August because he thought Dickenman's system was holding him back.
"I won't consider it a big loss," Dickenman said. "I just consider DeMario to be a senior who graduated."
