Conference titles and berths in the NCAA Tournament came a lot easier to current Army head coach Jim Crews when he was at Evansville.
He reached the Big Dance four times while serving as the Purple Aces' bench boss. These days, the Black Knights mentor would probably settle for just a double-digit win total. In his three seasons at West Point, Crews' teams have managed just 14 victories.
After a three-win campaign in 2004-05, things don't figure to get much better for the youthful Black Knights, who return just one senior.
