They aren't who people thought they were. There were rumblings of softness surrounding the Connecticut Huskies, the product of head-scratching losses to NIT-bound Georgetown and Pitt (twice!), plus a first-round exit from the Big East tournament (despite taking that game against Syracuse to six OTs). UConn was garnering a rep as a team that wouldn't work for it. But college hoops fans learned a lot about UConn from its 82-75 Elite Eight win over the Missouri Tigers, and more than just that Hasheem Thabeet is as bad a dancer as Barack Obama.
